Since 1989, Nite In Hand has been an amazingly fun, safe, substance-free evening of celebration held graduation night at the Daniel Hand High School. It is planned and funded entirely by parent, student, community, and local business contributions. Numerous efforts by parents, staff, and community members, including the annual senior auction, car washes, bake sales, numerous fundraising events, and a fee per student admission make this unique evening possible. The intention is that the graduating class celebrates that incredible evening together. What a wonderful way to cap off graduation day!
Funding, such as a $1,500 grant generously provided by the Maureen E. and Peter Dalton Fund of The Madison Foundation, was made available to assure that every student can partake in this memorable graduation event. Please contact the DHHS Guidance department to inquire for more information; discreet subsidies are available to ensure that every class member can attend.
Nite in Hand is a great event! Every senior in the 2016 graduating class should have the choice to attend!
