The following is a letter from Madison First Selectman Fillmore McPherson and Woodie Weiss of the Town Energy & Efficiency Committee:
The Town of Madison is pleased to endorse the Madison Energy Challenge. This program reflects the Town’s continuing dedication to improving the quality of life for its residents by promoting renewable energy and energy conservation. Madison residents and business owners who participate in this program on or before June 30th will receive generous state incentives and premium pricing on insulation upgrades, solar installations and energy conservation measures. The Madison Energy Challenge will only last for 16 weeks due to limited funds and the uncertain future of state and federal programs.
A free Energy workshop will be held on March 25, 2015 where approved energy experts will be on hand to discuss state programs designed to reduce your energy usage and make your home more efficient through insulation upgrades, solar installations, business solutions, and guidance on taking advantage of federal tax credits, state rebates, loan and lease options.
JOIN US FOR INFORMATION AND REFRESHMENTS TO KICK OFF!
WHEN: March 25, 2015 at 6:00 PM

For more information on the event or program you can call (203) 389-3342 to speak to a representative or visit MadisonEnergyChallenge.com.
As a bonus for your participation, New England Conservation Services (NECS), Energy Resource Group (ERG) and Aegis Solar Energy will be making a $25.00 donation for every insulation upgrade, or solar installation completed through the Madison Energy Challenge to the Madison Foundation Neighbor 2 Neighbor fund to help provide fuel assistance to Madison residents in need.
Thank you for helping make Madison an energy efficient, clean, renewable energy community.
