Heritage Society

The Madison Foundation established the Heritage Society to recognize individuals and couples who have included the Foundation in their estate plans for the betterment of the community. Estate gifts of $10,000 or more can take the form of bequests in a will or trust; beneficiary arrangements of insurance, IRA or pension benefits; charitable remainder trusts or gift annuities; gifts of other tangible things such as real estate or valuable collections.

Members of the Heritage Society have an active bequest to the Foundation. They have worked hard, saved, and invested well. These donors wish to create a lasting legacy with the final gift of their lifetime by leaving assets to the Foundation that will continue to grow for generations. Through this example, Society members seek to encourage other generous donors to make similar future commitments in support of the Madison community.

We are grateful for the foresight, dedication and philanthropic spirit of these generous donors. Mahlon Hale and David Allen co-chair this effort on behalf of the Board of Directors of the Madison Foundation.
