Student Initiative
Encouraging Student Projects
The Madison Foundation believes in the passion of our student community for those in need. When challenged by such a need, our students have shown the generosity, the creativity and the commitment to make a difference with their energy.
Sometimes, such student initiatives require the seed money to get started ... to buy materials or publicize fund-raisin events. Grants are available to students, and student organizations are invited to submit an application for programs that support our town and our neighbors.
In particular, The Madison Foundation encourages student projects that respond to the immediate needs of our community amid the challenges of the recession of 2007-2009. The Madison Neighbor-to-Neighbor Fund has been established as a channel for just such efforts to help our neighbors in this time of widespread personal and economic hardship.
